Once your account is set up:
- Click on "Connect Search Console" in Adaptify.
- Select your Google Search Console account.
- Authorize Adaptify's access.

In this short video, we're going to be taking a look at your configuration checklist and more specifically connecting your Google search console. 0:11 So let's get to it. When you first set up an Adaptify account or a trial, you're going to want to go through your configuration checklist. 0:20 This is four key things that you're going to want to be able to set up to get the most out of your Adaptify account. 0:26 These include connecting your Google search console, setting up your one-click publishing, which means your integrations, enabling your automated content, deciding how often you would like us to publish for you. 0:39 And working on your PR backlink building. We will have further videos on all three of these, so do stay tuned. 0:47 Today, however, we're going to be talking about Google Search Console. This is the first thing on the Configure Checklist, and is important to allow us access to the back end of your website, so that we can see how your rankings and keywords are doing. 1:00 In order to set this up, you will need to have a Google search console account. If you don't have one already and you have questions on how to do it, Google does provide an awful lot of really easy to use tutorials. 1:14 I'll put a link to this page, getting started with Search Console, right here, for you to take a look at if you need it. 1:21 Once you have your Google Search Console account set up, Configuring it inside Adaptify is as easy as 1, 2, 3. 1:28 Just click on Connect Search Console. Click on the Connect Google Search Console button. From here, it will take you to choose your account. 1:37 So this is going to be the account that you actually log into your Google Search Console with. Click that. And then you will need to give Adaptify some access to that Google Search Console account. 1:49 Go ahead and click Continue. and then it will be authorized. If you meet with an error such as this, you can reset and re-try. 2:00 If you continue to have problems, please let us know. Otherwise, a correctly connected search console will look like this. Once you have it completely connected, it will show you the HTML for the website that you connected and let you know when the last impressions were made. 2:18 That's going to be it for Google Search Console.
