0:00 Welcome to another Adaptify Essentials video. In this video, we're going to go over setting up your one-click publishing and automated content settings in order to go through the configuration checklist. 0:14 First up, one-click You'll find this underneath Website Overview in the configuration checklist on your website's dashboard. Let's go ahead and click it and get started. 0:27 When you're first setting up your website, you will want to select which of your website platforms you want your website is hosted on. 0:33 This is going to be something such as WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace, Shopify, HubSpot, or Dutta. If your website is located on one of the other many hosting platforms, feel free to choose other, let us know what platform it's on, and then scroll down and set up one of our 15-minute integration phone 0:54 calls. If your website is hosted on something such as WordPress, move on to step one. In step one, you'll download and install the Adaptify SEO plugin. 1:06 You can choose from our standard plugin or our white label plugin. Remember, everything on Adaptify is white label compliant, so we're never going to be putting our name or logo on anything. 1:18 If you download the white label plugin, that plugin will simply be named SEO plugin in your client's plugin list. Step two will only require you to change the website URL if your WordPress site is main website. 1:34 This means if your blog is hosted somewhere that isn't on your main website. If that's the case, please feel free to update this URL. 1:41 Otherwise, skip to step three. Step three will just check that the plugin is installed on If it is installed correctly, you'll be met with this green success check mark. 1:54 If it is still working on it, you'll see a spinning circle here. If that circle continues to spin longer than five minutes, please uninstall the plugin. 2:03 Plug in, re-download, and re-install. everything is done, move on to step four. This is going to be just choosing whether you want to auto-publish your article, which is what we recommend, or whether you're working on to include having a draft of your article created that you can then send to your clients 2:23 for approval before publishing to the site. Next, let's move on to setting up your automated content. OneClick Publishing has been started and you have your green sheet, checkmark here, move on to the third checkmark, Automated Content Enabling. 2:39 This is as easy as it gets. Simply select the SEO content publishing frequency that you would like us to create and publish your articles. 2:48 Our recommended frequency is going to be somewhere between 10 and 20 times a month. We found that this gives you very good article coverage, which will get picked up and indexed by Google pretty consistently. 3:01 Speaking of Google, a lot of people have been asking us, what does Google think about doing all of this automated AI publishing? 3:08 And we're happy to let you know that they recently came out with an update, letting everybody know that it really doesn't matter to them whether your content is created by AI, or a freelance writer, someone on your staff, or just a human in general. 3:23 The only thing that matters to them is that the content is their Google EEAT compliant. This means that the content needs to have good authority on the subject it's writing. 3:33 And that it's written in an easy to read and understandable way that's going to make it easy for your clients, guests to the website, and anyone who finds this article via Google Search to read the information. 3:46 Another option that you have when setting up your automated SEO content is going to be to activate our boost. Boost setting is an additional $199 a month, but allows us to create 50 plus more articles for you on any given month. 4:02 This is mostly used for new websites. Websites that do not have any content created so far and want to front load that process. 4:10 If you have an older website that you would like to go ahead and create a lot of articles for, we can also use it for that and either backdate or front date the articles depending on your needs. 4:22 From the automated SEO content slider, you can also choose to manually publish your articles. If you do that, we will not push anything automatically to your blog website and you will need to come in and manually create and publish any articles that you're looking for. 4:38 Again, here you have the same options that you had in the previous settings for one-click publishing of whether you would like to set this to publish automatically, which is our recommended setting, or set it as a draft. 4:56 Now that we've covered check marks two and three, let's quickly touch on what you can do inside of your train website AI interface. 5:04 This dashboard is going to give you access to editing a lot of things about how your AI is going to manipulate and create your content. 5:13 Things such as your company strategy, your customer avatar, managing your feedback, that's the feedback that you've given the AI during the content creation process, managing your images. 5:27 As a quick reminder, we do use four types of images. Those are AI-generated images, stock images using Pexels or Unsplash, custom infographics, and our custom user library. 5:41 Any of these can be switched on or off with a simple click of a button. on this dashboard you have other SEO writing options such as selecting your point of view, your tone of voice, you can mention pricing, and you can select your article length. 5:57 also have the ability to disable mentioning your competitors. By default this will be disabled and we will not mention or link to any competiting businesses in your content. 6:11 One other notable setting in this dashboard is the ability to configure your local SEO. To do so, simply click on the box, enable local SEO features for the and add in the city and state of any location that you'd like the AI to pay particular interest to when it's writing your articles. 6:30 This means that, that it will actually write the articles for that section of the country, a specific state, or even a specific town. 6:40 is no limit to the amount of location, that you can add, just remember, city and state please. Once you've added them all, go ahead and save changes. 6:50 Lastly, on this page, we do allow you to upload custom source data. This is mostly used if you have clients that prefer to get their sources from websites such as .gov or specialty sites for things such as medical or lawyers. 7:06 To add in this source data, simply click on Add More Data, Add Website, and paste in the URL that you would like us to use as a source. 7:17 Once you submit, moving forward, the AI will use this particular source data much more often And that's going to be it for today. 7:25 If you have any questions, definitely let us know at support at adaptify.ai. We'll see you next time.
