Overview
When you add a website to Adaptify SEO, we ask you to connect Google Search Console with Adaptify SEO. We use this data to track when your article gets indexed.
If it does not get indexed, we will manually review your website for common SEO errors. Once resolved, Adaptify can automatically submit the article URL to the Google Indexing API. We pride ourselves on a very high indexing percentage, close to 100%.
We’ve had customers appear on Google in as little as 5 minutes. For smaller websites, it can take up to 14 days before we have accurate data about indexing.
How does Adaptify guarantee indexing?
All content created by Adaptify is typically indexed and shown on Google because we take these measures:
- We check if any existing keywords are already ranking to avoid keyword cannibalization.
- We know what is already ranking, and we don’t write duplicate content.
- We use plagiarism detection and only write new, unique content.
- We always use the correct H1/H2/H3 structures for articles.
- All articles by default include rich content like images, tables, FAQs, and infographics.
- All content is custom written for your website.
- When you use our one-click publishing feature:
- The URL slug is SEO optimized, and we avoid duplicate slugs.
- Categories, author names, and image metadata are all set automatically
What if I don’t get indexed
There are still instances where Google may not index some of the content written by Adaptify. We always review this on a case-by-case basis. Typical reasons are:
- A recently migrated or changed website with many broken links.
- This tool can be useful: (https://www.brokenlinkcheck.com/broken-links.php)
- The website already has thousands of pages that were not indexed before using Adaptify SEO.
- The website is unfinished.
- There is a technical SEO problem with the website.
- Website speed is very low (you can test this here: https://pagespeed.web.dev/)
- You have a NoIndex tag on your homepage or blog overview page. (You can test this using this tool https://seositecheckup.com/tools/noindex-tag-test)
For all Agency and Agency+ Plans, we automatically monitor if multiple articles have not been indexed for more than 14 days. We will manually review your site and email you with a solution if it is something that can be resolved. Usually, this can be resolved quickly, and indexing picks up soon after. When this issue is resolved, we will propose automated indexing:
Automated Indexing
In cases where indexing is slow or not happening, we have built an indexing feature using the Google Indexing API, which makes it easier for content to be indexed.
We will always ask for your permission first before using automated indexing.
On Agency and Agency+ plans, we monitor your websites and reach out to you if automated indexing is needed to get your customers' content indexed. If you’d like to use this feature, you can always contact us at support@adaptify.ai, and we can then run this for your websites.
