0:04 Welcome back to Adaptify Essentials. This is video two in our two video series showing you all about PR backlink building and how to take a look at your dashboard. 0:15 So today we're going to go over how to look at your dashboard. See how your pitches are doing, and even leave feedback for the AI. 0:22 So let's jump right into it. To access your PR backlink dashboard, there's a couple of options. The first one is just to click on Automated PR Backlink Building underneath your configuration checklist. 0:34 You can also scroll down to the Backlink Pitching section of your main screen. From here, you're going to be able to see your most recent pitches that were sent, as well as a quick overview of what's been happening while you've been away. 0:47 Want to dive in further? Go ahead and click Backlink Pitches. This is going to take you to your PR backlink dashboard. 0:55 From this dashboard, at a glance, you'll be able to see the number of pitches we've sent for you, the number of pitches that have been selected. 1:03 Selected is going to mean that the journalist has said, yep, I'm going to use this pitch in my article, but that article hasn't been written yet. 1:10 So just be patient, and these that are in Selected will soon become Backlinks Placed. Backlinks Placed are backlinks that have already been selected. 1:18 They've been written into an article, and we have an active URL that we can give you so that you can go and see your client's name in the spotlight. 1:26 Also on this dashboard, you'll be able to take a look at every pitch that we've sent for you. You can sort these by date, just by looking through Date, or you can look at their status. 1:37 Oh of these are going to have a couple of different statuses ranging from Placed, Selected, Sent, and Under Review. You can click into any of your pitches at any time and find information such as the date it was sent, the outlet it was sent to, sometimes the author's name will be here, but not always 1:58 . so don't be surprised if you don't see it. You'll also get information such as the topics that you matched with the journalist on, your proposal text is going to be the text that the AI wrote on your behalf and that we sent, and at the very bottom you can see the original query. 2:13 This is going to be the original question from the journalist that we set out to answer for you. On any of your pitches you can go ahead, read your proposal text and then leave the AI feedback based on what you thought about what it wrote. 2:29 This can be very simple feedback such as a thumbs up or a thumbs down if you felt particularly one way or the other. 2:36 Even better, though, you can use the GIVE command. Feedback button to give the AI very specific feedback. It will remember this feedback moving forward, so it's important to stress things such as maybe topics that it touched on you didn't like, phrases it used that you didn't want it to use, if you tell 2:54 it to speak in a different tone or in a different way. Anything that's going to be able to help steer it to sound more like you and make your pitches more authentic. 3:04 As always, there's no real right or wrong answer when leaving your feedback, but whatever you leave here, it will remember in the future, so just keep that in mind. 3:14 We also have the ability to allow you to retract your pitch. This is essentially a same as deleting it and means that the journalist will not be able to use it moving forward for their articles. 3:26 Once your pitch has been selected, then the fun starts. This will change to status placed and you'll be able to click in, see all of that same information, but now you're also going to have an active link to a URL. 3:40 This URL is going to be a link to the article where your quote is now living. So congratulations, you can grab that URL, send it to your client, and tell them that they're now a star. 3:52 You'll also be able to find the domain ranking of whatever outlet was where your quote was used. The higher the domain ranking, the better. 4:01 Overall, we do strive to send at least 30 to 200 pitches on average for any given client in a month. 4:09 Of those, we do guarantee that we'll get you 1 to 6 backlink pitches placed. Backlink pitches are really important because they help raise the awareness authority and the ranking of your website, as well as get new client eyes on that website. 4:25 That means if you have a quote in a journal that maybe you normally don't get customers from, it's going to a client base that normally doesn't see you, but does have relevance for your product, they're going to see that quote, click on the link. 4:38 that will take them back to your website and hopefully convert into customers. There are so many cool things that happen with PR backlinks and we're so happy we're able to help get them for you. 4:49 If you have any kind of questions or concerns at all, please let us know. Otherwise, thanks for watching.
