0:00 Welcome back to Adaptify Essentials. This is part two in our two-part series on how to set up and use your PR backlink building dashboard. 0:10 So let's jump into it. Now that you've got your PR backlink building dashboard all set up, the little check in your configuration checklist should have turned green. 0:20 If it didn't, please do reach out to our support at support at Adaptify. We'll be able to let you know what's holding it up. 0:28 But as long as we're green, we're good to go. So let's take a look at that dashboard. Once you go into your dashboard, it's going to give you a really quick overview of what's been happening. 0:39 Things like backlinks in progress and backlinks placed. If you want to see every backlink that's been sent for this account, all you need to do is scroll down a little and click and click the show all button. 0:50 This is going to show you every backlink that has been sent, whether it was accepted or not for this particular account. 0:57 Some useful things you can do here. If we scroll down, you'll see that there's a couple of different statuses that backlinks can be in. 1:05 The most useful in terms of what you're going to want to look for day to day is either a backlink placed or a pitch sent. 1:12 We do not allow you to actually approve your backlink pitches before they are sent. This is because not only is everything automated, but journalists are looking to write their article now. 1:25 They don't really have time to sit around and gather, um, answers for a week or two before they write that article. 1:31 That means that you need to be very, very quick in submitting your answers. Because they are As we've created that AI persona that I walked you through in the first video, we're able to send those answers very, very quickly. 1:44 Usually you're going to be in the top 10, if not top 20 at the very least of answers for that journalist question, which increases your odds of success dramatically. 1:55 So what does that mean though, if we send something you don't like. Let's take a look. You can come down and review any of your pitches at any time. 2:04 You'll be able to see the date the pitch was sent, its status, and then just click into it. From here, you'll get a little bit more information. 2:12 Again, you have the date, the outlet this pitch was sent to, the topics that you matched with the journalist on, the entire middle proposal box is what the AI sent on your behalf, and it was and answering this original query. 2:26 So this is going to be the original journalist question. Most answers are going to look very typical to this. You'll have two or three paragraphs of text. 2:35 The journalist will choose a sentence or two, and that's what you actually get quoted and what you get the backlink for. 2:42 I recommend for at least the first month or so that we're doing automated backlinks for you. Come in and randomly take a look at what's being sent on your behalf. 2:51 If you like it, but you just wish that it had been changed just a little bit. Maybe the AI had spoken in a more optimistic tone, or it said something that you didn't like, or maybe it said something you did like and you want to reinforce that behavior. 3:05 We give you the ability to come in and give feedback. This feedback is essentially going to be training the ag to what it is. 3:13 That you like or you didn't like about your pitch. Again, there's no right or wrong answer here, so feel free to get a little nitpicky. 3:21 If it just said a phrase you didn't like, let it know. If you didn't like its tone of voice, that's another thing to let it know. 3:28 If you always say a certain phrase and you'd like it to start adding that into your pitches, Or, if you always use one word in place of another. 3:36 Definitely. Definitely feel free to put those here. There's no right or wrong answer and you really can't max it out. 3:42 So, anything you give the pitch feedback box here, the AI will remember moving forward and your pitches are just going to sound so much more like you or your client at the end of the day. 3:54 Now, let's say that you come in and you really didn't like this pitch. That's okay. Sometimes that happens. And if you didn't like the pitch, all you need to do is click on the little red trash can icon that says retract pitch. 4:08 This will pull it back from the journalist. They won't be able to use it moving forward and it will again ask you for feedback. 4:15 So, whenever you retract a pitch, you will be required to provide feedback on what it is that caused you to retract that pitch. 4:21 The AI will again learn from that negative feedback. It won't do it again. You also have the ability to just give the AI a general thumbs up or thumbs down if you just mostly liked or disliked that particular pitch. 4:36 So, that's everything that you can do with a pitch that has been sent. So, what happens when a pitch is actually placed? 4:43 Now, if we come back up to the top, we can take a look at these two boxes. When When a journalist has decided to, that they will accept your pitch and they are going to use it inside their article, your backlink will be moved to in progress. 4:56 This means, again, that the journalist has said, yep, I'm going to use this, but they haven't gotten through all of the writing, editing, and actually publishing of that article. 5:05 So, your quote is not live yet. Once your quote goes live, the backlink will move from in progress to place. 5:13 At that point, you can come down, click on the backlink, and you'll have a lot of the same information, but now you also have a live URL that you can visit and you can actually go and see your backlink out there in the wild. 5:28 It's going to be a live link in the journalist's newspaper, blog, magazine, wherever it ended up. You'll also be able to see the domain rating of this outlet. 5:37 So we're good giving you a little bit of additional information that you can use. These backlinks are free for you to use. 5:44 Sometimes I have people ask me what you can do with them. The most popular answer to that that I've seen is you can always set up a featured page. 5:51 If you get a lot of high profile backlinks that you were really, really excited about, having a featured page is a great way to tell your prospective clients that you're out there and you understand your niche or topic. 6:03 If you just want to see a list of maybe backlinks in progress or backlinks placed, you can click on either box and it will tighten up this list down here. 6:14 So that's all you that you're going to be looking at. Aside from that, if you're super happy with your backlinks and you would like to get more, we also do have the ability for you to change their plan directly from the Backlink Building Dashboard. 6:28 To do that, you can click Change Plan and then you'll be given a number of options depending on how many backlinks that you would like to be guaranteed a month. 6:38 Our standard plan comes with one average backlink per month. That's going to be an average DR of 45 per link. 6:46 That comes automatically with every plan. Again, uhm, it's going to come with the $4.99 starter as well as every site on the agency plan unless you change that in our Plan Builder. 6:59 If you're super happy with your backlinks, however, and you want more, we have plans that offer two backlinks a month, three, five, ten, all the way up to twenty. 7:10 If you have any questions about pricing, plan building, plan builder, anything like that, definitely feel free to reach out to us at support.adaptify.ai. 7:19 And that's really it. I do recommend that you come in and take a look at what backlinks have been sent on you or your client's behalf, maybe every week for the first couple of months, maybe a couple of times a week, depending on, uhm, how kind of niche the category is, if you really want to make sure 7:37 that the AI is getting everything right. After that, you can kind of just let it go. We'll send you emails if anything's going wrong. 7:45 Otherwise, feel free to sit back, relax, and let us do all that pesky legwork for those backlinks. If you have any questions, as always, feel free to reach out to support at adaptify.ai. 7:57 Otherwise, we'll see you next time.
