0:00 Welcome to Adaptify Essentials. Today it's all about the images so let's jump right into it. You can find your image dashboard located under all website settings. 0:13 From here scroll down and you'll find SEO images. Click on manage image and you have arrived at your image library. 0:24 From here you can manage all four types of images that we here at Adaptify use. The first one being AI generated images, then we have stock images from Pexels and Unsplash, custom infographics, and a custom user interface. 0:42 Any of these can be turned on and off with a simple click of a button. As you see happening here, when you do first log in to your image gallery, if you haven't done so before, the AI will take to looking through the URL address provided for your website. From there, you will start to grab a couple of 1:02 recommended images to populate your user image library. If it grabs anything that you don't want it to use, feel free to just scroll over, click the red trash can icon, and that image will go away and will not be grabbed again. 1:16 If you have custom images that you would like us to use in your content moving forward, feel free to click on upload images and send them our way. 1:24 From there, the AI will take a look at your custom photo, decide what it's about, and then slot it into your content as appropriate. 1:32 Now what happens if we write you an article and you want to change one of the images? No problem. Let's take a look. 1:41 When you're drafting your articles, if they're there's an image that's used that you would like to change, that's no problem. 1:47 Just go ahead and click on the pencil icon next to the image, and then give the AI some instructions on something you would rather see. 1:54 Whether this is a more photo-real image, if you'd like to say something like, just show a laptop, hands on a laptop, let your imagination go wild and see what the AI can help you with. 2:07 You also have the ability to change the alt description for any image. To do this, simply click on the wheel, and then you can change your alt wording here. 2:17 Please note that the choose file button from these settings does not currently work. If you would like to choose a different image or use an additional image, you can upload an image directly that you have hosted on your website somewhere. 2:32 Maybe it's on a Google Drive. Anything like that, but that's going to be the only way for you to actually be able to control exactly which image that you get. 2:41 Once you've changed your alt text, go ahead and hit save, and the AI will save that to this particular image. 2:49 And that's going to be it. Go out there, have fun, use custom images, and like I said, let's see what you come up with. 2:55 Until next time!
