Readability
We've made recent improvement in ourĀ AIĀ contentĀ readabilityĀ andĀ tone of voice, getting even better at having people clickĀ andĀ read theĀ content. In the end we're optimizing for low bounce rate, since that isĀ Google's prime indicator thatĀ contentĀ is valuable.
AI detection software
We make sure our content is written at a much higher quality than other AI writing tools.
We found through experiments that passing AI detectors do not affect Google rankings. An effective method of passing AI detection software, is to make small grammar or spelling errors, this can be punished by Google.
We currently pass most AI detection tools. We tested the 7 most popular ones to check if they work:

So we tested all seven, we were shocked by the results, first off all 6/7 tools found the Adaptify content completely human written. So we used a writing sample from 2018 (before AI!), and we used articles written for customers by Adaptify with their consent. We then checked our own writing, and 5/7 tools found our content completely human written. We repeated the tests and found similar results.
