0:00 Welcome to this video in our Adaptify Essentials series. In this course we're going to be talking about your content plan. This is going to be part one of a two-part course over your content plan. 0:14 This time we're going to be talking about crafting content. To get started, From the main page of your Adaptify dashboard, scroll down until you get to your content plan. 0:26 If auto-publishing turned on, your content plan will have the next 30 days of content available for you to look at. 0:36 on, and you can click in. into any of these pieces of content to draft or at least take a look at what the AI is thinking about writing. 0:44 From the draft page, you can see what keywords the AI is planning on using. If you see a keyword in here that you don't want it to use for this specific article, all you need to do is scroll over it, click the red trash can button, and it will not use that keyword when it writes your article. 1:01 If you're a WordPress website, you can also schedule out this article. By default, it will be scheduled for whatever date that it naturally falls under. 1:11 If for whatever reason you would like to backdate or front date this, all you need to do is click change, choose the date that you would like it to become available, and we will either backdate it, or if you choose a future date, the AI will go ahead and write the content for you, push it to your WordPress 1:29 site, and it will sit on your WordPress site under drafts until the date that you have set. At that time, it will go live on your blog. 1:38 You also have the ability to take a look at the sources. If you find a source that you don't like, once again, scroll over, click the red trash can icon, and it will not be used when creating your content. 1:53 Have a specific source in mind for just this article? No problem! Click add source, type in the URL, click add source, and it will use that source when creating the content for you. 2:08 we continue to scroll, you'll be able to see a few other things as part of your SEO strategy that the AI is intending to write for this article. 2:17 You also have your article options. In another video, we will go over the full breadth of the SEO writing options and everything that you can choose there. 2:28 From the right-hand side column, you also have the ability to choose your title. We'll give you some recommended suggestions, or if you have a custom way that you set up your specific titles for your brand and blog, feel free to go ahead and write that in here. 2:44 The AI will also give you an outline of everything that it's planning to write. Under this outline, there'll be a number of topics in these gray boxes. 2:53 If you see a topic that you don't want the AI to write about, scroll over, click the red trashcan icon, and when it runs, you'll will not use that topic. 3:03 Once you're done with that, you do have the option to either go ahead and click the blue create article now button, Or click the back button and then the AI will write this piece on whatever. 3:15 day it has set up in the content plan. If you don't like this article, or if you don't want it to write this particular article using these keywords, you do have the option to hit the red delete article button. 3:29 If you do that, I'll let planning on using for this article will become free keywords again, meaning that they will not have an article attached to them, and you'll be able to write a separate article with using just those keywords. 3:44 Speaking of keywords and specific articles, if you do have something very specific that you want to write, you have a keyword that you really want to target right now, instead of going in and doing that from your keyword strategy and adding it to a cluster, you can hit this add new button. 4:01 This will give you some suggestion keywords. These are going to be keywords that are trending, that are going to be good to use for your content. 4:09 But again, this is more if you have something very specific in mind. With that specific keyword in mind, type that in here. 4:17 You can select a cluster. If this is going to be a one-off and you don't want it to add it to any of your current clusters, what I recommend doing is going into your cluster strategy, creating a cluster that's just going to be for those one-offs. 4:32 You could even call it one-off keywords. and adding it to that. Either way, once you've set your keyword and the cluster, click create, and the AI will go ahead and write the article for you based off of the cluster that you have recommended for it. 4:47 Depending on whether you have automated content set on, or if you have your content set to draft, once that article is created, it will either be here in your ready folder, or it will automatically publish and push out to your website. 5:00 If that is the case, you will be able to find it here under your published folder. And that's going to be it for drafting an article. 5:07 Until next time.
